Mahmud Alam is an experienced businessman and has been involved with several start-ups as early as his teenage years. By the time he attained his Bachelor degree, he had acquired multiple years of experience in the Australian share market, food industry, retail distribution & clothing import business.
Beginning as a project manager for Sufia Shamsuddin PL and experiencing success, Mahmud immediately started up Noor Group. He achieved immediate financial accomplishments by redesigning the investment model to incorporate external clients and superannuation investors. The company has grown under his expertise with a significant project size increase from $300,000 to over four million. After successfully completing several projects, Mahmud has taken on larger projects with higher expectations.
Mahmud has over 22 years IT experience in Project Management, Vendor Management, Training and Consulting. He has led teams both nationally and internationally to address complex service delivery issues in providing technical solutions to clients, IT support and project delivery. He has lectured Masters of IT at RMIT and also a proficient professional year program trainer.
He has a Master Degree in Information Systems and Bachelor Degree in Computer Science & Engineering (Mechatronics) from the University of Melbourne. He also has Diploma in Training Design & Development and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
Imrul Alam is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience across a number of industries including Utilities, Education, Health, Manufacturing and Retail.
As a Non-Executive Director, Imrul provides oversight for all transactions being entered by Noor Group as well as critical analysis of business cases for new projects and a sounding board for Noor Group Management.
He has a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants as well as Degrees in Commerce and Information Systems from the University of Melbourne.
